Principal Legal Counsel - IT

We have a Principal Legal Counsel position open with one of the top IT product companies in Bangalore.This is a senior level position and the candidate is expected to provide strategic direction on business models.

Job Description:

- Provide legal support for India and ASEAN regions, and support relating to the R&D centre.

- Support the Sales and Services organizations in drafting and negotiating agreements, including outbound Software License, Service and Consulting Agreements and partner agreements

- Conduct legal audits of various functions to ensure compliance with the internal and external policies and procedures;

- Monitor and advise on changes in local law or regulation that may impact the business

- Advise on commercial disputes and litigation

- Provide legal advice on all aspects of commercial contracts to operations, employee matters, corporate governance

- Advise on labor and employment issues

- Advise on real estate matters

- Advise on corporate infrastructure and subsidiary expansion and maintenance

- Support legal and compliance initiatives

- Assist in developing strategic legal initiatives locally
