Principal Engineer - E&P - Plant Management - Operations Support Systems - Oil & Gas

Looking for personnel with rich experience in Exploration & Production Line of Business Solutions Management, Business Engagement, Operations Support, IT Services provisioning at Shahdol. Need to be familiar with E&P Infrastructure and CBM Field Facilities.

This individual will be responsible for LOB Solution Management Lifecycle, Service Management, Project management, Process Improvement plans, Vendor management, SLA Management, People Management. This person will be co-ordinating with application development team to design, build and automate business processes and support. The individual shall be managing IT infrastructure Operations of a medium to large user base setup across multiple locations. The individual will be responsible for driving new technology, Information Security and process innovation initiatives at Shahdol.

Job Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)

- To identify new opportunities by closely working with the Business Teams to translate their needs into solutions and help unlock Business value.

- Execute Solutions Management Lifecycle, which includes Project Management, Business Requirements Definitions, Functional and Technical Specifications, Business Solution Design & development, Facilitate UAT, Training and drive User adoption

- Operate, Maintain and Support the suite of LOB applications and maintain a high level of quality, standards, supportability and operability as defined within agreed SLAs (Service Level Agreements)

- Managing Projects as per the project delivery framework i.e. developing and maintaining a project plan. Recording and managing project issues, resolving cross-functional issues, managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary.

- Responsible for effectively operating the Change Management Process

- Vendor Management to ensure the Service Delivery within SLA and handle escalations.

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

- Have good understanding of the Exploration & Production Business Processes, functions, business drivers/ KPIs

- Knowledge on IT Systems, Applications data flow and interfaces and operations.

- Good knowledge on E&P Business domain applications and its management.

- Knowledge on data flow, acquisition architectures, Distributed Control Systems, SCADA and OPC technologies. Managing the Real time Data management system application.

- Experience in Managing IT systems operations and business applications like LIMS and OMPro.

- Experience in Implementing and managing the various Server, Storage and Backup solutions.

- Experience in Implementing and managing the Apps High availability, Disaster Recovery Solutions.

- Expertise in Windows, Linux Operating Systems and Virtualization Technologies (Hyper-V, VMware)

- Exposure to Information Security policies, procedures is desirable.

- Possess Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills

- Highly adept at managing interactions with site leadership team

- Ability to multi-task and work independently, efficiently with cross functional teams.

- Ability to Lead, motivate and develop team members.

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)

- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or relevant

- 12-15 years of relevant cumulative experience in the area of Managing Plant Operations Support Systems, IT Service Delivery & Infrastructure Operations

- Hands on experience in handling systems implementation and support at Oil & Gas installations
