Principal Consultant - Supply Chain Management - eCommerce (10-14 yrs)

Supply Chain Product Management department is seeking an experienced leader to join its team in Bangalore.

- The successful candidate will be a key member of the India business team, responsible for driving a highly-visible, strategic delivery improvement program that directly impact the customer.

- You will be responsible for driving improvements to the customer experience by ensuring a consistent, successful, customer centric delivery, always!

- You will identify and deliver products that decrease customer effort, improve speed, reliability and transparency, reduce costs, improve efficiency and raise the bar on the delivery experience for customers.

- You will have worked in a fast-paced, multi-tasked organization and have driven and communicated a delivery program's direction, roadmap and vision to multiple cross functional teams, gained consensus and buy-in.

- You will be comfortable with data and excel at diving into data to identify root causes, derive patterns, and determine long-term solutions.

- You will have experience managing operational adoption of a program through performance metrics.

- The role requires you to have a strong mobile bias and build delivery product and features that will make the delivery experience best on Mobile.

- You will manage a team of Product Managers.

- Product Managers are the builders on Platform.

- They own building new features, tools, processes and businesses for the platform.

- The delivery experience product management team is focused on understanding the needs (stated or unstated) of online shoppers and coming up with creative and often visionary solutions.

- Company's vision is to be - earth's most customer centric company- and Customer Experience Product Managers have end to end ownership for improving customer experience including identifying opportunities, defining solutions, getting leadership buy in, prioritization of resources, delivering the project in partnership with tech teams and measuring impact.

- The position is located in Bangalore, India, and reports into the international retail team's product management group.

Key Responsibilities :

- Advocate for customers and drive delivery process enhancements which eliminate root causes driving customer dissatisfaction

- Serve as the single-threaded leader for the delivery experience across India business

- Create and execute a project roadmap, including technical and business process improvements.

- Manage analytical and technical resources to establish and monitor customer focused supply chain-based performance measurement systems.

- Collaborate with other departments to integrate delivery information with their systems and processes and identify and address improvement opportunities

- Manage multiple stakeholder expectations and provide regular appropriate updates to senior leaders.

- Build vision, champion the vision and influence stakeholders to drive the vision.

Basic Qualifications :

- MBA with business management or technology emphasis.

- Quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills

- SQL and advanced Excel skills needed

- Experience driving leadership communications across multiple business units

- Experience running technical teams

- Experience managing complex, large programs with many customers and stakeholders.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Superior analytical abilities; curiosity to dig several layers deep into metrics, have an innate desire to understand key drivers and whether they are the correct or best metrics to measure/manage the business or process.

- Experience in assessing market and business opportunities, defining business and feature requirements, coordinating feature development, and measuring results.

- Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications :

The successful candidate will be able to :

- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.

- Effectively manage customer delivery expectations and requirements and resolve conflicts that balance customer need and resources.

- Drive a team to manage large programs, dependencies and bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balancing business needs with technical constraints.

- Design models to use in evaluating the success of the products implemented

- Develop processes to effectively maintain and disseminate product roadmap information to stakeholders.

- Collaborate with transportation networks, carrier management, Customer Services, product management, design and engineering disciplines to deliver the right delivery solution

- Possess superior analytical abilities and judgment.

Experience : 10 to 14 Years.
