Principal Analyst - Equity Research - Multiple Sectors - BFSI

We are looking for resourceful candidates to join our Financial Research group based out of Hyderabad. The group works closely with front office groups to provide high quality and in-depth support to the investment research and decision processes of the Firm's global proprietary trading strategies. The candidates will work closely with portfolio managers and analysts in the fundamental equities team of the firm associated with the Macro strategy.

Primary responsibilities include:

- supporting detailed modelling of company financials and preparing investment write-ups.

- complete valuation, operational, peer group and sensitivity analysis.

- development and maintenance of financial models.

- research coverage for specific companies and sectors of interest to the group.

- frequent contact with front office groups to iterate on financial models and investment thesis.

- attending management / intermediary / sector expert calls.

The ideal candidate should have a CFA/ MBA (Finance)/ CPA or equivalent qualification with 8-12 years of experience with strong skill sets in financial modelling, accounting and valuation, fundamental equity research and analysis, along with excellent communication skills. Equity research experience in International markets is required.
