Principal Analyst - Equity Research - International market Experience |Individual Contributor Role

We are Looking for "Principal Analyst- Equity Research" Individual Contributor Role for Noida Location.

Client - Our client is a Multinational Research & Data Analytics and a Management Consulting firm.

JD :-

Possess 7+ years of experience in the equity investment research space with core expertise in 1-2 sectors Manage his/her work independently which will include :-

End-to-end ownership of financial models for coverage companies

Contributing to various reports for coverage sector- earnings notes, investment teasers, initiating coverage notes, sector notes, thematic notes

Issuing timely updates on company events/sector events/trend-changing events and gauging the impact on valuation of stocks

Building and maintaining sector-specific databases and periodicals

Replying to queries from equity sales or institutional investors

Should have the ability to form independent views on stocks and generate research ideas for the client

Client and Team Management

Must be able to manage client engagements on a fully independent basis including contributing to morning meetings and dealing with the sales team of clients

Should be able to play an active role in various product/process development exercises for the client

If required, manage 1-2 junior team members and train them on building domain/sector expertise; also, being responsible for their appraisals and career growth

Organisational Task Management

Should be a - go-to-person- or a - consultant- for other groups for the sector/practice/domain of his/her expertise

Should be able to create IPs/white papers/blogs/articles/teasers on his/her subject area, which can be used for public distribution by company's for marketing purposes

Contribute to training and hiring activities in the relevant technical area

Work Experience

7-10 years experience in Financial and/or Investment Research in a KPO or Consulting Firm

Core experience in 1-2 equity research sectors ( Preferred- Retail; Hotels and Leisure; or Consumer Goods sectors)

Extensive experience in financial modelling; forecasting; valuations; writing investment research

Thorough knowledge of financial analysis and valuations, industry analysis, macroeconomic analysis

Knowledge of various databases such as Bloomberg, Thomson One, Capital IQ, DataStream

Education:

Master's or Post Graduate degree in Finance or Chartered Accountant

Additional financial certifications such as CFA, CPA, risk management
