Price & Promo Optimization - SAS (4-9 yrs)
Looking for people with Quantitative background from premier instituters with 4-8 yrs of relevant exp into Price and Promo Optimization.
- Hands on experience in SAS is mandatory.
- Deep expertise and experience in OR based Optimization techniques (Linear and Non-Linear), Heuristics and Algorithms
- Experience in Price & Promotions Optimization in Retail environment Price Elasticity Modeling, including cross-price Elasticity Models and Bayesian hierarchical models, Demand Forecasting Modeling
- Develop a Price Optimization Engine to facilitate the process and decision making of setting right prices for all items / products at the right time, factoring in the sales goals, volume commitment, price perceptions and markdown goals
- Develop Optimization Algorithms to optimizes prices based on guest shopping behavior for one categories and stores, accounting for cross category, cross channel and competitor data
- Provide insights to support fulfillment and product inventory placement
- Perform constrained Optimization and scenario modeling with competitive response and alternative cost structures
- Work in collaboration with Data Scientists to develop and deploy Pattern Classification and other Math based algorithmic solutions for Price and Promotion Optimization problems
