Presales Product Lead - Retail Lending (10-15 yrs)

Client : Global IT Company with BFSI focus.

Role & Location : Presales Product Lead - Global Lending Solutions

- Incumbent will be based in India (Noida). Role will involve travel, both in India and overseas

Job description:

- Works closely with Sales in client engagements – identifies prospective clients, understands clients’ business and functional needs, creates and delivers PPTs / proposals / pitch documents to address client requirements; core objective is to increase market penetration and revenues from new business acquisitions (jointly with Sales)

- Delivers demo to prospective clients and engages in functional level discussions on product aspects, features and benefits

- As part of Core RfP team, plays a pivotal role in anchoring client RfPs; brings in his / her domain knowledge of the Retail banking space and drives RfP responses by close co-ordination between Sales and other internal stakeholders; ensures superior quality, content and appropriateness of RfP responses with a clear mandate to enhance deal win ratio for the organization.

- Exhibits strong understanding of the retail lending business – concepts, market practices and trends, customer needs, existing products and solutions, key global and regional players, business dynamics etc

- Acts as lending domain specialist and is able to engage at par with clients on their business discussions

- Actively plays the role of a thought-leader in the lending space – addresses client events and award functions, hosts talk shows, contributes and broadcasts content over various online social media channels, writes whitepapers and articles for brochures and other marketing collaterals for the organisation

Skills Required:

- Should have strong understanding of Banking in general and excellent knowledge, experience and understanding of the retail asset business in particular

- Excellent communication and client facing skills; should be highly articulate in speech and mannerisms

- Strong exposure to complex deal management, RFPs, client pitches and solutions

Desired:

- MBA (A list B-Schools) with 10-15 years of Banking experience, significant part of which should have been with the retail asset (Sales / Product) of a major Bank
