About our Client - Our client is a multi-billion dollar global telecommunications and media company. They offer voice, data, enterprise solutions, cloud services, mobile, internet access other entertainment products. With India being a strategic growth market, they are looking at considerable growth in the India market and are thus looking for their Presales Consultant for them in India, based out of Bangalore.

Job Description - The incumbent will be responsible to :

- Identify complex sales opportunities and work closely with Global Account Managers

- To engage with clients, understand their technical and business needs, develop compelling technical solutions based on company product set that meet and exceed client needs and provide differentiation from competitors

- Technical opportunity qualification in WAN (IP-VPN, L2 WAN, WaaS, IaaS, UC, Video collaboration, call centers, enterprise mobility etc) including competitive product assessment

- Work with account management to identify key technical decision makers. Build key TDM influencer relationships based on technical competence and problem solving

- Solution value proposition and technical feature to specific business benefit mapping

- Become the client advocate and needs aggregation point for interaction with product management function

- Prepare technical proposals in coordination with commercial, product and other functions.

- Conduct regular knowledge sharing with peers; sharing best practices, industry insights and technology updates especially on unified communications services

The Successful Candidate :

- The role requires a deep domain technical knowledge and understanding in an area aligned with company's strategic solution/technology road maps coupled with an appreciation and understanding of sales and sales related processes including the requirement to achieve sales and revenue targets.

- The incumbent needs to demonstrable expertise in pre-sales design and solution architecture of moderate to complex technology-based solutions (e.g. MPLS, Ethernet, VoIP, WAN Optimization), which meet both customer requirements and vendor capability in the market.

- Minimum of 5 years experience in a customer facing consultancy role in the Telecommunications or Data communications industry and tertiary qualification in a technical discipline such as Engineering or Computing preferred.

- Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills including effective information gathering, presentation and negotiation skills, and establishing and maintaining customer rapport is ideal.

- Minimally certified at the Professional level with Cisco will be desirable. Voice over IP, Security, WAN Optimization, Contact Centre and Virtualization or Cloud Computing experience is preferred.
