Job Description.

The role involves but not limited to

- Lead and support local implementation, management and maintenance of Microsoft Solution offerings including the pre-sales and the actual delivery activities.

- Develops personal rapport and professional respect with field sales and professional services teams.

- Prioritizes his/her time to focus on highly qualified, larger opportunities with target prospects.

- Builds high quality Microsoft Solutions that meet client requirements and can be delivered profitably. Plan and gather information in order to define system objectives.

- Enumerate and articulate TCO and ROI supporting investments in Microsoft Solution.

- Participates in formal account planning workshops for Microsoft Solution.

- Attends sales calls with relevant clients to identify and analyze potential opportunities for Microsoft Solution.

- Delivers high quality, technical expertise in the pre-sales process to help close sales opportunities with the client.

- Engages with clients facilitating workshops to jointly develop understanding of their environment, synthesizes findings, draws and presents conclusions.

- Ensures technical compatibility between the client's requirements and the products and Microsoft Solution offered.

- Develops SOW and estimates and pricing for client proposals for Microsoft Solution.

- Develops, monitors client relationships and status of ongoing engagements and projects.

- Provides day-to-day guidance and mentoring to new and existing PS staff in Microsoft Solution.

- Participates in project-specific technical teams.

- Actively participates in industry groups and forums.

- Lead the solution consulting team

Experience:

- 10-12 years in the above mentioned capacity specifically as a Microsoft Solution architect or consultant with a large Microsoft Solutions integration firm

- Experience in hands-on delivery of Microsoft Solutions including : System Centre, Data Centre Virtualization, Exchange Server & Lync projects will be preferred

- Proven track record developing Microsoft Solution

- Business Acumen with an understanding of key business processes

- Strong background in the development of technology-based business Microsoft Solutions

- Effective communicator; verbal, written and presentation skills creativity, flexibility and openness to alternative technical and commercial approaches to consulting work

- Team management and management reporting

Job-related Skills:

- In-depth capability and understanding of Microsoft Solution technologies and their application.

- Ability to articulate and develop Microsoft Solution architectures and roadmaps for clients

- Experience in analyzing Client infrastructure to ensure that the infrastructure is ready for the Microsoft Solution.

- Experience in designing and deploying Microsoft Solution.

- Ability to produce high-quality written materials including proposals, business cases and plans which convey complex analysis and arguments in a concise manner

- Level 300- 400 Understanding of Microsoft technologies including : Windows Server 2008 R2, Exchange Server 2010, Windows Server Hyper V, SCCM, SCOM, SCSM, SCVMM, SCDPM, Lync 2010, Windows 7, MDOP, APPV, Citrix Xen Server/Desktop.

- Understand SLA and QoS and experience in implementing QoS.

- Understanding and experience in estimating and project costing techniques.

- MCP / MCITP on Windows Server 2008, Virtualization & Unified Communications.

- ITIL foundation certification preferred.

- Security concepts - issues and integration

- Excellent interpersonal skills - be able to interface with Senior IT Management staff at customers.

- SDLC -conversant with formal qualifications in either Architectural Modelling or System Analysis
