The Pre Sales Consultant ( Mainly HP Products ) will provide architectural and consultancy approach for the complete Data Center Infrastructure design.
About Candidate :
- Proactively engages in the sales cycles
- Able to help qualifying a sales opportunity
- Assisting sales people in the qualification of the customer requirements
- Demonstrations of the product, and complete solution to customers.
- Able to position our products against the competition
- Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents
- Developing product and complete solution selling strategies
- Working with sales people on the execution of specific sales strategies
- Meeting customers and delivering product presentations
- Reports progress and issues to the Manager in a timely manner. In particular, to relay issues that might impact on quality or the ability to deliver to timescales or estimates
- Developing templates to assist in sales efforts.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get the job done.
- Possesses an understanding of sales methodologies and can apply them in a sales situation.
Requirements :
- Good Pre Sales and Solution Architectural experience in the following:
- HP Servers & Storage Portfolio
- HP configurators and sizing tools like HP Sales Builder, HP Product Bulletin, HP Active Answers, TCO and ROI tools.
a) Private Cloud (HP Cloud Services Automation CSA experience is a plus)
b) Microsoft Infrastructure Technologies
c) VMware
- Backup Technologies (Commvault knowledge is a plus)
- Microsoft, VMWare, Cloud technologies, Backup Technologies like Symantec or Commvault.
- 6+ years IT Work experience
