Job Scope:

The position reports to Technical Consulting Manager for APAC Region (Operations and Asset Management Direct Sales) directly with responsibility of providing technical, business and industry support role for Pre-Sales activities through business consultation with customers to achieve sales quota assigned for the F&B and CPG Industry focused Businesses.

- They will need to work closely with the Country and regional Sales individuals, delivery team, Global Product Managers, Marketing Manager and industry solution team.

- It is primarily a customer facing role that requires good technical knowledge of MES products applicable to the F&B and CPG Industries with a fair understanding of business processes that are enabled by MES.

- The individual will also need to have good communication skills in the language relevant for the region they are responsible to be able to position the Invensys solutions and services to the prospects.

The role involves knowledge of the relevant industries, Invensys solutions, value proposition, sales process and market characteristics to lead and support MES sales.

Main responsibilities:

- Responsible for the specific Geography to support MES sales to meet the quota assigned.

- Provides solution architect or creating new solutions based on strong technical knowledge or primary product line or vertical industry solution best available to satisfy customers’ needs.

- Drive value creation approach to customers to maximize business pipeline from existing customers and new prospective customers following the internal sales process and proposal process via customers' visit and solution campaign.

- Develop strong relationship and trust with customer to achieve sales strategies and objectives.

- Plan, prepare and present the technical presentations and demonstration for campaigns, and client visits, to progress the pipelines into the next stages.

- Prepare technical proposal, technical responses to RFP and bid estimation working with delivery team

- Support sales to close the opportunities by obtaining customer's technical buy-in and firm-up the technical scope.

- Coach and provide training to MES sales for Operations Management solutions and business strategy.

- Standardize of various sales tools like proposal, presentation, demo, etc.

- Keep updated with the technology development inside and outside Invensys via various intranet sites and Sales Portal.

Competencies:

- Strong MES technical knowledge with field experience through MES projects either as part of an implementation team or as part of the customer team responsible for roll-out and management of the solution

- Develop strong relationship as Trusted Advisor with customers by understanding customer pains/requirements and providing best solution architect to satisfy their needs.

- Support sales lead to build pipeline via professional/personal connections, client’s visit and solution campaign.

- Understand competitors, their strategies and counter-tactics.

Requirements:

- Engineering with a Software development background with good knowledge of MES, Operations Management with experience of one MES product (preferably Wonderware Products)

- Minimum of 5 years experience in the field with proven MES System Integration, MES Product vendor or Food and Beverage/Consumer Packaged Goods manufacturing company

- Basic computer knowledge to set up demonstration machines with proper setting on environment

- Programming skills and aptitude to learn new products

- Manufacturing Process knowledge of Food & Beverage and CPG industries

- Able to prepare and give comprehensive and impressive presentation regardless to the size of audience

- Communication skill to maintain and develop intimacy with important customers, fluent English to intimately communicate with APAC as well as global teams and preferably strong skills in local language depending on geography of responsibility (Thai, Vietnamese, Mandarin)
