Purpose Of Job:  - The Senior Manager Human Resources - Operations role provides strategic HR leadership and support for the Pramati's Operations organization which includes over 900+ employees in multiple sites in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and US.   - This position reports to the VP, Human Resources and works in close collaboration with key stakeholders of the organisation. The position is based in Hyderabad, India.   - The role of the Senior Manager is to lead the strategy and execution for all Human Resource initiatives to include employee relations, organizational change management, driving quality and productivity programs, organizational structures and work processes, recognition and employee development initiatives, compensation management and analysis and compliance in order to assist managers and employees by delivering competitive advantage in achieving company goals.   - Ensures the effective and efficient use of resources and fosters an environment which is responsive to the needs and expectations of employees.  Responsibilities & Duties:  - Align business and HR strategy for the Operations organization.  - Leads and manages the location HR Managers and coaches them and their staffs to build overall skills and competencies.  - Serves as an HR business partner to managers at various organizational levels within the Operations organization (Managers, Senior Managers, and Vice Presidents).  - Have multi-site responsibility  - Provides counsel on matters of employee and organizational policies and procedures.  - Responsible for the development, implementation and on-going compliance of affirmative action plans and related diversity initiatives.  - Develops and proactively creates company programs in order to maintain a sound employee relations program and union-free status.  - Responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of all employee related policies for Operations staff. Ensures compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.  - Develops, implements, and coaches others with respect to progressive discipline. Reviews and approves all involuntary terminations.  - Partners with business Leadership Team in developing and implementing productivity, quality initiatives across the organization.  - Drives organizational effectiveness and change initiatives to ensure the Operations organization has the right people, right structure and right processes to drive short and long-term business success.  - Develops and implements plans and programs to enhance employee engagement.  - Partners with the Senior Manager of Business Continuity Planning.  - Performs other related duties as assigned.  Education: Graduate + PG level course work in Human Resources and/or labor relations preferred.  Certification: S/PHR  Experience:  - Requires a minimum of eight years' experience in employment, employee relations or related field. IT Product development environment experience preferred.  Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  - Ability to quickly assimilate into the culture of the company and work effectively as a business partner with all levels across the organization.  - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written  - High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.  - A person of authentic character. A thoroughly honest and forthright individual, who is genuine and committed to the success of the organization and its employees.  - Strong and deep business acumen, including the ability to quickly grasp and converse at the strategic, entity level with executives  - Demonstrated success in developing talent at multiple organizational levels  - Ability to persuade and influence others, especially at the executive level  - Comfortable working and interacting at all levels of an organization; knows when to lead and when to follow; demonstrates professional courage and is tough in the face of adversity  - Comprehensive knowledge of employment, wage/hour, affirmation action and union prevention.  Has supervisory responsibility for six to ten employees, with four direct reports.
