Practice Lead – Banking Mobility
Summary
This is a senior role in the Banking Domain Group within the Financial Solutions Business Unit . The Practice Lead will have the following objectives: (all in the area of banking and financial services)
1) Contribute / Own the ideation process for building new mobility solutions – act as the product manager for these solutions
2) Be responsible for leading mobile banking and mobile payments projects as the senior domain consultant
3) Participate in sales calls with members of Wipro field force team
4) Participate in mobility project lead / opportunity identification process
5) Over a period of time - be recognized as a thought leader by customers in the space of mobility in banking and financial services. Engage CxO level stakeholders.
Expected experience
- 10+ years experience in the industry – atleast 4 years of experience in banking and financial industry; immediate last set of engagements should be in the space of banking and financial services
- At least 1-2 years of experience in working on mobility – preferably for banking and financial customers
- Should have been part of the mobility initiatives for a financial institutions (preferred) OR Should have worked in the IT organization of a large financial institution in business technology streams OR for product companies in the mobility space
- Should have led Business Analysis engagement and deliver Business Requirements, Impact Analysis, Gap, Scoping, Vision, Test scenario documents etc.
- Leverage knowledge on business function to compare competitive products and create solutions
- Provide domain support for mobility RFIs and RFPs by providing domain point-of views, help in estimation etc
- Excellent academic credentials from top tier programs - B.A. / B.S/ B.Tech required, MBA strongly preferred
- Experience in motivating and leading multi cultural, multi geo, cross functional teams (preferred)
Key Competencies required
- Ability to analyze banking processes to determine applicability of mobility for those processes
- Powerful verbal / written / communication / networking skills; Excellent client presence
- Extensive expertise in use case writing and use case modeling – atleast 3 banking projects
- Experience in one or more Requirement Management Tools (like of Requisite Pro/ DOORS / Caliber RM)
- Ability to work independently and proactively in an unstructured environment
- Location: India – Bangalore; willing to travel extensively
