Basic Function:

- The Practice Head will be required to lead / champion and Build the “Strategic Consulting” Team and would report to the Sr.Director.

- Incumbent will be responsible for building & leading strong strategic teams to provide superior Consulting services to our Global Customers.

- The teams will be built on the best in class research models that benchmark superior delivery levels on global assignments. The core of this role will include the following, however, will not be limited to :

- Mergers & Acquisitions

- Operating Model Strategy

- Strategic Cost Reduction

- Strategic Planning & growth

- Sales and Marketing Strategy

Essential Functions

This role will require working closely with Senior leadership on and around:

- Leading strategic consulting practice

- Articulating strategic intent through analysis, collaboration and consensus

- Participates in and leads consulting practice that help advance organization’s strategic agenda

- Participates in and leads cross-functional projects across the organization

- Creates implementation Roadmaps for better program management and implementation

- Provides comprehensive information to study and address business issues

- Ability to have a detailed gap assessment based on current baselines and future-state vision

- Assessing market trends and synthesizing recommendations on the sourcing model and the implementation roadmap

- Formulating the strategic direction for the client’s and advise the client through the entire lifecycle of the consulting process, from strategy formulation to negotiations and closure

- Builds responsive and owned environment for outcome/s – presents findings to stakeholders

- Exercises appropriate judgment to make decisions for less defined issues and selects methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

- Requires moderate complex decision-making and Entrepreneurial risk taking abilities

- Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in strategic thinking, plus working knowledge of the insurance and financial services fields.

- Previous experience in a Management consulting, ideally in finance or Insurance industry.

- Analyzing and drawing conclusions after compiling numerous data points and presenting those conclusions and data in a concise and easy-to-grasp manner.

- Excellent listening, oral or written communication skills or both

- Ability to find creative and innovative solutions to business problems

- Develops relationships with client internal / External personnel

- Communicates effectively to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management

Work Experience Requirements

- Preferable, experience with brands excellent repute

- Fluent written and spoken English, additional languages are of advantage

- Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in strategic thinking, plus working knowledge of the insurance and financial services fields.

- Flexible, diligent, motivated, reliable and proactive personality with superior problem solving skills.
