I am representing an Executive Search firm and currently hiring for a Business Head role for a leading Fortune 100 Management Consulting for their Retail and Manufacturing Consulting practice.
Position : Emerging Business Accelerator
Experience : 12-20 yrs with relevant last 8 -12 yrs in Consulting space only
For Retail Consulting Practice :
Position Requirements: A high energy, spirited individual with good retail industry knowledge and the ability to create Customer Value Propositions out of disparate innovations in the market-place. An individual who can drive the entire Innovation lifecycle from Concept thru Go-to-market – much like an entrepreneur or a start-up.
Responsibilities could include :
- Create an Innovation ecosystem comprising Partners, Analysts, VC firms/Start-ups, and team members.
- Drive a process to generate new concepts, validate them, and filter for incubation
- Incubate the concept, build it out to the extent that it can generate interest in the market and value for the client
- Implement / monetize it with pilot customer/s
- Create an on-going revenue stream
The selected person will be a part of the Retail Global Leadership team, reporting directly into the BU Leader
For Manufacturing Consulting Practice :
- 15-20 years of experience in running a consulting practice and managing revenues over 30Mn and grow unit YoY by 30%
- Accountable for overall direction, project execution, implementation and competency development of the unit
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and integrate well with the IT organization and achieve goals
- Come across as a thought leader and be able to communicate PoV during client visits
Experience Requirements
- Must have experience in Manufacturing and Logistics with capability in Supply Chain and Core Manufacturing operations
- Should have a good understanding of IT services industry and IT in Manufacturing, Utility and Logistics industry
- Experienced and implemented projects and products for global clients
- Extensive program and project management experience
- Should have led a team of over 50 consultants across multiple discipline
- Client Engagement and Relationship Building
- Must have global experience and led consulting engagements for Manufacturing and Logistics clients in the areas of defining IT strategy, business strategy, O2C, P2P, business-IT alignment, packages related consulting
- Should have won and led large multi-million $ consulting engagements
