Practice Director - Salesforce.com (15-20 yrs)
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for overall practice growth in their portfolio and target accounts including ensuring margin targets
- Responsible for business development and service delivery for their accounts
- Create external and internal awareness for companies Salesforce.com practice through go to market plans with internal industry groups and interaction with Salesforce Sales, Alliance and CFL organizations.
- Work with companies Industry Leadership, Business Development Managers, Salesforce.com and clients in identifying business problems and conceptualizing potential solutions
- Manage and coach assigned staff (e.g., ensuring their satisfaction, development)
- Support Solutions and Innovation development and leverage their expertise when needed
- Maintain knowledge of the Salesforce.com product stack and value propositions
- Contribute to thought leadership, go-to-market product development Salesforce.com alliance, practice development
- Contribute to the development of offerings to support targeted companies industry groups go to market plans
- Author or co-authored Salesforce / Force.com thought leadership pieces that are published or presented regarding Salesforce/Force.com business analysis topics
- Support the business operations and revenue management functions
- Support recruiting and internal development projects
REQUIREMENTS:
Work Authorization:
- EAD / Green Card / US Citizen
Experiences:
- 15 + years in a consulting function
- 3 + years in a proven consulting practice leadership role
- 2 + Years two years of experience leading business development activities in the Salesforce.com ecosystem
Education:
- Bachelors Degree, Masters Business Administration a plus
Critical Needs:
- Demonstrated ability to achieve consulting / professional services revenue targets
- Established ability to develop and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with accounts and companies internal industry sales groups
- Demonstrated effectiveness in the use of solution selling techniques to acquire and maintain customers
- Proven aptitude to consistently drive highly-satisfied (e.g., > 91 %) consulting customer relationships
- Experienced in mentoring and growing delivery and practice leadership staff
- Demonstrated organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills with the ability to work well in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to successfully collaborate with multiple functions associated in the areas of software engineering, infrastructure, product management and business operations
- Ability to lead onshore and off-shore teams in all aspects of project delivery
Certifications:
- Certified Salesforce.com Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud Consultant a plus
