Pooly- - an innovative yet simple to use platform that connects car owners and passengers who are travelling on same route and can share ride. Pooly is a carpooling application that offers an alternative solution to working professionals to commute to office.

Our vision is to make carpooling a feasible transportation option that will allow employees to commute conveniently at the same time substantially reduce cost of commuting. Apart from significant fuel savings of up to 50%, the other benefits of carpooling include combating peak hour traffic congestion, reducing air pollution and meeting new people while commuting. Petroleum Conservation Research Organization, a government body, actively promotes carpooling and encourages commuters to share car.

We are currently a team of 5 people with over 25 years of experience. We are looking for young and dynamic people to join our team and become part of the success!

Purpose:

We are currently in process of developing a Web and Mobile based application for car pooling. Though we have a technology team in place we are keen on engaging with a Senior Technology Advisor who can advise the internal technology team.

Scope of Work:

STA will be responsible for following activities:

Help technology team in selection of an appropriate technology platform on which application would be developed.

Review database designs and structures

Review user interface and advice to enhance user experience.

Review code and provide feedback.

Advise technology team so that application developed has improved performance and security.

Review overall work executed by technology team

Act as brainstorming agent and help team evaluate various choices.

Time Commitment:

STA is expected to commit 4-6 Hours per week to work with technology team and management of the company. This engagement is for 18 months

Compensation:

STA would be offered 2% equity in the company vested in 18 months.
