Project Manager – Transition (ITES)
Reporting To - Deputy Vice President
Experience - 7 - 8 YRS
Location - Gurgaon
Job Description
- Completely responsible for end-to-end in respective area of function.
- Works on areas of complex scope.
- Has the ability to respond to detailed queries.
- Applies own judgment to independently determine a course of action, which is then executed independently post review.
- Responsible for coaching and mentoring junior Managers / Leads in the team to help them scale up faster.
- Responsible for managing and delivering the work output of the group/function within identified timelines with expected quality.
Skills and Job Requirements
- Part of Business Unit leadership team in Business Excellence at BU level.
- Be the contact for customer and all internal stakeholders during the transition
- Ensure that all the transition tollgates are met and transition timelines are adhered to
- Ensure that transition costs are within planned costs
- Draw up detailed transition plan and drive the same
- Publish weekly transition dashboard and send to the key stakeholders
- Participate in all Governance reviews with the customer – daily, weekly and monthly
- Ensure structured internal reviews to track project progress
- Ensure that risks and issues are captured in a regular manner and mitigation plans drawn out
- Ensure customer satisfaction during transition
- Ensure that there is a smooth handover of the baton to the delivery team at the end of the transition
- Ensure that learning’s from the project are well documented at the end of the project and discussed with key project stakeholders
- Validation of Transition proposals and participation in Due Diligence exercises, where required
Desired Profile Candidate to have experience in
- Must have experience as a Project Manager for Min 3 yrs.
- Experience in Transitions - Domestic BPO of Min. 4 yrs
- Managing Multiple Clients.
- Good Communications Skills.
- Industry Preferred – Telecom, ITES
