Started by two IIM Ahmedabad graduates and won many hearts and minds of schools, teachers, investors and innovators in the Education Space, PlaySpring offers Curriculum rooted in Discovery based Learning to Schools from K-5. Unlike many education services, Schools can run PlaySpring parallel to the existing curriculum in the School.

Our vision is to create curated learning environments with effective stimulus, incorporate play using educational toys into regular curriculum, and form informed facilitators to reduce the widened gap between the way students are taught and the way they need to be taught in terms of both the scale and the intensity. Responsibilities:

- Establish key manufacturing initiatives, metrics and goals for the team in alignment with business priorities

- Develop and execute manufacturing strategy as per business plan

- Reduction of non-value additive strategies using tools and techniques of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen etc

- Monitor and Review manufacturing operations to ensure correct quality standards

- Ensure production process, equipment and working environments are conducive to high quality delivery

- Sourcing, negotiating, validating and managing the purchase of products and services as per company procedure

- Raising working capital loan from the bank for procurement and operations

- Organize, coordinate and plan all inventory management activities

- Ensure all recruitment and employment and necessary compliance are carried out as per company policies

- Promoting and upholding company performance standards and ideology

- Identify training needs, implement, monitor and review training and development plans

- Measure and Manage staff performance, address personnel under-performance. Coach and develop a high-performance workforce

- Liaisoning with the MD/Board of Directors and maintain proper records in accordance with company procedures as required

- Maintain proactive, dynamic and effective communication with the customers at all times

- Control all associated operational and manufacturing costs accordingly to the prevailing annual budget forecast

Qualification:

The candidate should have done Bachelors and MBA/PGDM from any premium institute with Operations or Supply Chain as Specialization

Experience:

Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in relevant field
