With RummyCircle.com, Play Games24x7 pioneered the thriving online rummy industry where it is now the market leader. Now, Play Games24x7 has set its eyes on the rapidly emerging mobile games space in India. With over 250 million smartphone users today, and numbers projected to cross 500 million in the next 2-3 years, we see tremendously exciting opportunities in this space, and our goal is to be the number one mobile games business in India by 2017.

To capitalize on this opportunity, in late 2014 Play Games24x7 set up a new division called Ultimate Games. Today, Ultimate Games employs close to 50 people with a product development team of over 25 people. We have kept this team separate from our 150 people strong team in Mumbai that drives RummyCircle.com to allow it to operate unencumbered and move at the pace and in the direction best suited for success in this space.

At Ultimate Games we bring to the mobile games space over 6 years of experience with RummyCircle, and close to two years of experience with our first social game - Call it Right - which can be played on Facebook, Android, iOS and the Yahoo Games portal. In our first two years we have already released 4 titles, one of which is in the top 5 grossing games on Google Play store and another in the top 20. We are now very strongly positioned to do in the Indian mobile games space what we have done with passion for the last several years across geographies and channels - provide awesome online game play experiences.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Position : Marketing Director

Location : Bengaluru

Reporting to : Co-Founder and CEO

Position/Role Description

The Marketing Director will be the strategic marketing leader of the business. The Marketing Director will be passionate about understanding the player decision making process as they navigate through a very crowded mobile games space. Through this understanding they will develop strategic and tactical marketing differentiators that are critical to success in the mobile games space. The Marketing Director will be a hands-on, high energy, ambitious individual who thrives in a fast-paced and highly demanding start-up environment.

General Accountabilities/Job Responsibilities:

- Develop a core marketing strategy for the business

- Work with Product Heads to tailor core marketing strategy to specific game needs and when necessary develop game specific marketing strategy.

- Work with Art Director to develop marketing material for marketing campaigns.

- Build and lead a team of campaign managers, media buyers and analysts. Allocate marketing resources to different games based on budget.

- Develop marketing execution plans and deliver on acquisition targets within time and within budget.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

- 7-10 years of marketing experience

At least 3 years of experience with digital marketing for a B2C business

At least 2 years of experience building B2B partnerships to drive new user growth

- Digital Marketing Skills and Experience

Strong skills at management and analysis of the entire acquisition funnel from creative design to media buying to user acquisition. Hands-on experience is a must.

Strong understanding of how to drive user acquisition on the Google Play Store. Hands on experience with driving user acquisition on the Play Store is a huge plus.

Experience running user acquisition campaigns on Facebook is a significant plus.

- Experience driving new user growth through B2B partnerships

Should have a very strong B2B network

Should have demonstrated experience driving new user growth through strategic B2B partnerships. Hands on experience driving execution is a must.

- Should possess very strong understanding of the creative process to drive user acquisition.

- Should have experience building and leading teams to achieve marketing goals

- Should have obsessive focus on clearly measurable ROI.
