About our Client
Our client is a very renowned brand in the market when it comes to providing specific ingredients for processed foods, beverages and fragrances. They- re looking at expanding existing operations in India and hence are currently looking to recruit a Manager for Procurement at their plant, which is located in Delhi NCR.
Job description
Reporting into the Sr. Manager for Operations, your responsibilities will include -
- Assisting the procurement/operations team with the purchase of Raw materials, commodities etc.
- Managing expectations of Internal and External Stakeholders in terms of Timelines, budgets etc.
- Optimizing procurement based savings without compromising on quality, by implementing industry best practices.
- Liaising with Global Stakeholders to implement robust sourcing for the region.
- Leverage Vendor relationships to optimize savings and operational efficiency.
Successful Applicant
You will be a Graduate degree with at least 7 years of experience in Procurement/Sourcing and working out of a plant based setup. Further, you will have experience in working with market leading companies in the Food & Beverages sector. The client is looking for someone with sufficient computer literacy (MS Office) and should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
