Plant Operations Head - Food Manufacturing (4-9 yrs)
Reporting to: MD
To head the operations of a mid size factory manufacturing Food Products.
Responsible for complete Setting up, Operations and day to day running of the plant.
Responsible for P&L of the plant (turnover - 15-20 Crs)
Overseeing production related tasks including planning, control and trouble shooting in shop floor
Coordination for the smooth manufacturing functions
Optimizing man & machine utilization to achieve pre set production targets.
Planning day-to-day activities, production schedules, allocating work and conducting inspection/ tests for checking performance capacity of various equipment.
Achieve the targets in all aspects w.r.t. man-minutes, budgeted Cost-limits, delivery commitments, minimum inventory, minimum breakdowns etc.
Implementing cost saving measures & modifications to achieve substantial reduction in terms of man days, production cost, raw material & energy consumption
Reviewing the system and procedures for effective inventory control and ensuring timely availability of materials to meet the production targets.
Analyzing customer complaints/queries for the factory produced products & to take appropriate Preventive/Corrective actions to ensure minimum rejections/replacements in the field.
Skills required :
Exp in Food Manufacturing.
BE/B Tech and MBA preferred
Should possess adequate knowledge in Plant handling
Logical thinking
Team Leader
Good Communication (Spoken & Written)
Problem solving skills.
