About our client:  Our client was incorporated in 1991 and is a closely held company engaged in manufacture of Soda Lime Flint & Amber Glass containers since 1964. Our client a listed company at Bombay Stock Exchange, currently has total melting capacity 320 tons per day comprising of two Glass Melting Furnaces (220 + 100 tons per day capacity) and 10 I.S. machines which gives them leverage over the competition in manufacturing a very wide range of containers from 10 ml to 1000 ml. The I.S. machines are capable of producing 1.5 million high quality containers every day.  Scope of this position:  - Head HR shall be responsible to take care of Factory HR affairs, Policy administration, Strategic decisions on IR issues, Disciplinary proceedings, Liaison with government officials, Contractual labors, Contract agencies, Wage settlement with union, build cordial relationship with union and shall oversee legal affairs.   - To coordinate with the Corporate HR for all Training and Development, OD Interventions, Engagement, PMS, Compensation and Benefit.   - Maintain proactive employee relations to ensure that the people strategy is aligned with the business needs, and also provide suggestions for continuous improvement by driving initiatives, implementing best practices and working effectively on HR operations and system.  Work Location : Baroda , Gujarat  Our client prefers localities who know to speak Gujarati and Hindi well.   - Good communication skills   - People Management strategy, Contract laborer management, Handling union, IR intervention.
