Plant HR Head - Pharma/Healthcare (14-22 yrs)

Job Summary : Responsible for smooth & effective functioning of the HR function at Site. Ensuring high level of plant productivity and efficiency. Facilitate and developing competencies, career progression of employees

Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for manpower planning & preparation of manpower budget and reviewing HC cost vs volume/revenue. Drive manpower Productivity & Efficiency Improvement initiatives.

- Responsible to prepare hiring plan as per budget, engaging hiring channels to ensure quality hiring within TAT norms and budget.

- To drive PMS process at Plant as per the defined policies, established TNI and finalize & execute annual training calendar. Implement Training effectiveness mechanism to support Corporate OD team in revisiting L&D framework.

- To design and implement Retention strategies to curb the attrition at the unit level & execute action plan in collaboration with HOD and Site Head.

- Provide inputs and implement the recommendations of employee engagement initiatives at the unit and strives for improvement in the employee engagement scores.

- Leading initiatives that will enhance motivation, teambuilding and general welfare of employees.

- Conduct benchmark survey within industry/region and suggest strategy to strengthen employee engagement & motivation.

- Be the change agent by challenging the status quo and championing new initiatives to lead the cross functional strategic HR projects to improve organizational productivity & efficiency.

- Establish communication channels to create strong connect with employees, families and external stakeholders.

- Maintain proactive, harmonious and conducive Industrial Relations. Drive the Long Term Settlement with the Union/Workmen through robust collective bargaining process & social dialogue. Maintain discipline at the shop floor and administer disciplinary action wherever required.

- Understand key concerns, grievances of the employees and to redress the grievances at the earliest possible time. Apply conflict management skills to facilitate timely resolution of grievances of workmen and engage them effectively.

- Effective and on time statutory compliance management on the principle of Zero Tolerance on non-compliance.

- Maintain effective Plant eco system to ensure smooth operations. Liaison with the various Govt agencies, external stakeholders, community etc. & maintain cordial relations.

- Effectively manage security function at site, establish security procedures, policies and periodic review to ensure security and well-being of employees, plant, machinery, material etc.

- Building good corporate image of the company in the nearby surroundings through CSR initiatives.

- Drive & lead CSR initiatives at the unit level in line with Corp CSR policy.
