Job Brief :-

To drive continuous improvement and optimization of all processes. To oversee all daily operations of the plant from production, manufacturing and ensurance of policies and procedures being followed. The candidate should have the key skills to develop, implement and control processes that will maximize stewardship; safety, quality, productivity at the same time lower costs at an over all plant level.

Job Responsibilities: -

- Plan, organize, direct and implement day to day factory operations such as production, manufacturing, QC, QA, Inventory Control, HR, Accounts, Training, dealing with various Govt Dept. etc.

- Increase production efficiencies, asset's capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards, while striving to improve over all GMP standards.

- Leading and monitoring a highly skilled team of HOD's and guide them meet their targets.

- Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping.

- Ensure site compliance status through various corporate audits.

- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.

- Ensure environmental safety as well as protection in and around the plant.

- Coordinate with different departments within the factory and make sure proper discipline is implemented / followed.

- Implement strategies in alignment with corporate strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.

- Monitor operational hazards and trigger corrective actions.

- Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff through training and proper KLA's.

- Fulfill vacant positions by timely recruitment via placement agencies.

- Collect and analyze data to find places of waste, overtime, cost outruns and implement ways of controlling it.

- Responsible to adhere to fixed budgets set by the HO and plan CAPEX based on forecasting.

- Implement production plans initiated by HO at plant level and be accountable for timely deliveries.

- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.

- Address employees- issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements with support from HO HR.

- Stay up to date with latest technologies, WHO- CGMP practices, QA process, latest production management, best practices and concepts by visiting various seminars, workgroups, trainings, trade fairs.

- Reporting to corporate / HO on weekly / monthly basis via MIS reports etc.

- Visit HO monthly / on need basis.

- Handling of Excise, Sales Tax, FDA, Industries Dept, Pollution Dept, Labour office and dealing with them though inhouse govt. laison staff. Entertain them when required.

- Assess the health, well being and physiographic analysis of key people (specially HOD- s) in the plant and corrective actions.

- Management Representation in various audits from ISO to GMP etc.

- Play an instrumental role in setting up / overhauling + implementation of systems + SOP's in all departments.

- Monitor daily / weekly production and do root cause analysis incase of deficiencies and take corrective actions there on.

Requirements:-

- Proven Managerial Experience.

- Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource management, finance, etc.)

- Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.

- Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, inventory and stewardship processes.

- Computer literacy with fluency in at least 2 major Indian Languages - VERY IMPORTANT

- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.

- Strong team building, Decision-making and people management skills.

- Good initiator, self motivated, good leadership skills.

- Strong & Flexible.

- Degree in Business Management/ Pharmacy Science or related field. (MBA / BBA + MSC / BSC with 1st class Division)
