Plant Head - Clinker Unit

Experience :

- 20 years plus in cement Industry, worked as Independent plant head continuously 5 years in one company having capacity of minimum 1 million Tons per annum.

- Competent Team leader to manage a team and get optimum production

- Competent to manage and run the plant from Crusher, Hopper VRM, coal handling section to KLIN for production of quality clinker.

- Wide knowledge from Mining to production of quality clinker including all departments, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and quality.

- Spares management with effective planning.

- Health safety compliance, admin/ HR control

Qualification : B. TECH - MECHANICAL or equivalent

Responsibilities :

- Complete responsibility of total plant operations, Maintenance and administration.

- Effective utilization of available minerals in mine.

- Implementation of SHE practices & Standard operating systems.

- Ensuring complete safety in total plant by counselling Staff & workmen

- Complete understanding of the cement manufacturing process, modern maintenance technology and methods.

- Building effective working relationships with all staff and support staff to ensure all areas are well managed & controlled.

- Ability to work as a member of a team to continuously improve plant operations.

- Strong analytical and decision making skills.

- Adequate knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation.

- Planning & execution of operations and improvement of production & Quality in coordination with the other functions.

- Productivity improvements and cost reduction.

- Plant up-gradation and modification if required.

- Efficient management of Raw Material, power, thermal energy consumption and Spares.

- Downtime analysis on daily basis and corrective action.

- Annual Production Planning and Budgeting.

- Preparing monthly performance reports of all sections.

- Optimizing Stores Inventory.

- Ensuring Co-ordination between all the Departments.

- MIS to top management.

- Monthly progress review meetings on breakdown /problem analysis with action plans & ensuring its implementation.

- Planned maintenance and Shutdown Maintenance based on condition monitoring system.

- Critical spares follow up with OEM & supplier.

- Implementing Plant Maintenance & Production module.

-Assessing manpower requirements, conducting interviews and finalizing selection of required staff.
