To drive the strategic thinking on a set of brands and lead a small team. To work closely with the various client servicing and creative teams and lead the discovery of key consumer insights. Become the voice of the consumer within the agency and inspire advertising that speaks to the consumer in the right way at the right time and about the right issues. Ensure accurate and timely collection of knowledge of the consumer and explain it in a way that everyone-client, account management, media and most importantly, creative people - will act on it. Provide checks and balances in the creative development process. Drive planning and creative standards in the agency. Leverage consumer/category insights to translate into robust communication platforms Will need to monitor local and global trends within the categories closely. Work on new business pitches.
Post graduate, preferably MBA from leading Business School, with 7- 9 years, from top advertising agencies, with experience in handling large clients in consumer goods and services. Experience on large format brands and of launching a popular/mass market brand successfully is mandatory. Must be passionate about crafting briefs that provide the creative team the springboard to develop consistently outstanding work. Needs to be quantitatively oriented, as it will require to really get deep into the brand’s business and not just its advertising.
