About Annamrita:  Midday Meal is a strategic program of the Government of India, and is being implemented under the brand name - Annamrita- in select schools across the country. The aim of this project is to liberate children from the vicious cycle of malnourishment and illiteracy. It is a not-for-profit, non-religious, non-sectarian public charitable trust formed on April 23, 2004 and registered under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950. Annamrita believes in providing children with the right nutrition to support their education. Our program is based on the belief that - you are what you eat- . Therefore one nutritious meal prepared with compassion and love, the way a mother would prepare a meal for her child, brings thousands of children to school daily.  Highlights:  - 1.2 million meals  - 20 kitchens across India.   - 7 states- Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and West Bengal.  The aim is to promote education - One Meal at a Time- by providing nutritious, wholesome, hygienic meals prepared in hi-tech kitchens which not only nourish the body but also nurture the soul.  Objective of the Job:  Establish a strong bond with government, school authorities, supply chain, donors globally and nationally and provide the vision, direction, inspiration and motivation necessary to ensure the foundation's success.  Responsibilities:  - In line with the vision to constantly serve the community and expand the project cover to more children by 2020, develop a roadmap to bring awareness of the program among charitable institutions, donors and gain momentum to raise funds which can help increase the coverage.   - Reach out to international forums, NRIs, corporates, NGOs, society at large and students in universities to garner support and set up sustained funding flow.  - Shift the needle from bridging fund deficit to building a corpus which can address long term sustained activity on the part of the foundation and bring in more areas under coverage. Prioritize actions in existing coverage areas and explore new areas in a phased manner.  - Keep track of the receipt of funds, their disbursement, and financial reporting and submission of the Annual Report to the promoters and/or Govt of India or any other appropriate authority.  - Liaise with government bodies for bidding, release of payments on one side and with school headmasters and principals on the other for adoption of the mid-day meals from the foundation.  - Ensure adherence to and compliance with the guidelines set by the Government as and when applicable.   - Monitor program implementation, assessing its impact, and taking corrective steps.   - Oversee the operations to ensure nutrition value and quality of the food. Liaise with various contractors, schools and other supply chain staff to ensure delivery of quality food within the timelines to various schools within a pre-defined jurisdiction.  - Be singularly responsible for strict control over quality, quantity, expenses and due diligence.  Candidate Profile:  - Ph.D / Post Graduate / Graduate from reputed universities.  - Should have experience of working in areas of raising funds, marketing, running P&L  - A corporate career and understanding of Marketing on a large scale, Finance and fund raising, team management, corporate sustainability will be highly useful.  - A natural networker who can bring in innovative ideas for fund raising, inspiring leadership to increase the coverage and team management would be an asset
