Description - Key Roles/ Primary Responsibilities:
- Part of Business Focused IT, a candidate needs to liaison with various business functions & technical functions for the below points:
a) Internal Customer Management
b) Software Development Life Cycle
c) Budget Management
d) Business Process Management
e) Vendor Management
- Play an active role in Project Implementation / Roll-outs as a Project Manager
- Manage internal business stakeholder expectations before Project Initiation, during Project Execution and post Go-Live and effective Change Management
- Manage stake holder communication
- Manage escalations and risk mitigations.
- Project Management: Monitoring / Tracking of project milestones / action items, effective Status Reporting to key stakeholders.
- Usage of tools like MS Projects, Visio etc.
- Requirement gathering and analysis, identify opportunities for business process automation and highlight key benefits to the business, Converting Business Requirements into IT specifications
- Training business stakeholders during IT project roll outs
- Manage budget
- Identify resource requirements and ensure optimized resource utilization.
- Coordinate with central PMO.
- Coordinate with various IT peer teams such as Infra team, technical team, functional team, etc.
- Ensure on time IT MIS preparation and review with IT Senior Management
Desired Competencies:
- Knowledge of SAP solution roadmaps
- Knowledge of SAP solution space
- Working in Manufacturing environment is desirable
- Business case development
- Usage of MS Projects, Visio etc.
- Experience in roll out of SAP and non-SAP application
- Exposure to basic end-user support would be an added advantage
- Excellent Written and verbal communication
- Business case development
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Team Player
- Strong planning and coordination skills
- Anticipates obstacles to change and plans accordingly
- Builds contingency plans to deal with setbacks
- Builds process for continuous and timely feedback
- Graduate, Post Graduate preferable
- Graduation from Engineering discipline would be an added advantage
