Essential Experience A minimum of 5 years- experience in learning & development. Experience in designing and being part of a Learning Management System implementation, setting up / managing functional and leadership academies will be given significant weightage. Good understanding of instructional design principles / 6Ds / consulting experience will also be preferred.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

This position will own and drive the learning agenda for the Piramal Group, a diversified conglomerate through the inhouse Learning University umbrella. The Learning University is going through a significant transformation. We are looking for someone with a - performance consulting- mindset rather than a traditional - training- mindset who will drive this change. We will also prefer someone who understands how to set up learning processes on a new Learning Management System and successfully manage the shifts in mindsets required in how the organization sees learning. Understanding and exposure to emerging learning technologies (mobile, social etc) will also be an added advantage. Since this is an exciting role that requires the incumbent to shape the face of learning at the Piramal Group, we will prefer individuals who have an entrepreneurial bent of mind and have the ability to operate in ambiguity. Some of the key responsibilities include:

- Design and shape the learning agenda for the Piramal Group, thus enabling learning to be seen as a significant, distinctive and differentiating part of the Employer Value Proposition we offer - this role encompasses diverse businesses - from Healthcare to Financial Services to Real Estate to Glass Packaging to Social Enterprise

- Set up and launch a world-class Leadership Academy with role-linked learning journeys for employees across the Group, design and delivery of the Leadership Academy curriculum, measurement of RO

- Facilitate and manage the overall governance of functional / business / technical academies (eg. HR, IT, Finance, Real Estate, Financial Services, Healthcare) across the Group in partnership with the Function Heads, Business Sponsors and Business Learning Leads

- Design the new learning processes on the Taleo Learn LMS and lead the change management agenda within the organization towards e-learning and blended approaches to learning

- Drive the technology based learning agenda across the organization to ensure openness to new ways of learning (MOOCs, social and mobile learning etc.)

- Drive effective governance of academies by ensuring robust functioning of the academy councils

- Interact with business leaders on a regular basis to obtain and sustain their continued sponsorship, identify learning needs etc.

- Design content or partner with learning partners for designing content for the academies

- Oversee the branding & communication campaign for all academy interventions
