Job Title: Compliance Officer

Designation: Chief Manager

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai (Local candidates only to apply)

Job Purpose: Ensure adherence to regulatory and other associated compliances for NBFC, Private Equity AMC and VCF/AIF/ PMS

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

- Ensure 100% adherence to regulatory compliances of:

a) RBI

b) SEBI

c) VCF/AIF / PMS

d) Other compliances

- Responsible for putting required regulatory framework in place to ensure compliance as per regulatory timelines

- Formulation and documentation of required policies to ensure all compliance requirements are in place

- Responsible to handle regulatory inspections and regulatory audits

- Act as Grievance redressal officer in NBFC to address complaints and queries received from borrowers

- Maintenance and tracking of comprehensive calendar for compliance of all applicable regulations

- Maintenance of quarterly risk registers

- Identify any potential risk area of non-compliance and take appropriate corrective action

- Assistance in internal and statutory audits for regulatory aspects

Essential Skills & Experience:

- Thorough knowledge of applicable Laws for respective business entities

- In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements

- Experience in handling compliance activities for NBFC

- Ability to proactively communicate the compliance requirements to business group
