Role : Strategic Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities :

Great procurement capabilities form a critical differentiator in this field. And, building the right procurement processes and systems are a key part of managing fast-paced growth in such a market. With the service standards we are trying to set for the industry, a strong procurement engine is a must. This is a mid-management role which will play an integral part in creating the best-in-class procurement set-up in this industry, in terms of strategizing, execution and analytics.

Key areas of work include:

- Procurement process design, fine-tuning and monitoring, for just-in-time and stock-order procurement processes

- Highly analytical inventory management to manage a hybrid marketplace (just-in-time + inventory-led) model

- Strategic vendor relationship management - Evangelizing amongst all vendors about the benefits of the model, to maintain a conducive environment which enables rapid scale-up

- On-Time-In-Full availability of products, gross margin optimization and working capital minimization are key outcome areas of the role

The role will have procurement associates reporting to him/her, from different operational locations of PinkBlue.in, and in-turn would be reporting to the Head of Operations.

What will help you do a good job :

Experience :

- At least 2 years experience in procurement/ vendor management/ analytics roles in any industry would be a big plus. Other related experiences may also be good to have. Freshers excuse.

Skillsets :

- Great analytical skills and a problem solving orientation

- Excellent communication skills & ability to learn quickly

Educational Qualifications :

- Any undergraduate degree involving numbers (engineering/ mathematics/ commerce/ statistics)

- An MBA will be a definite plus. Not looking for premier institute MBAs for this role, as this is a junior role.

- Consistently good academic record will be a plus
