Job description :

- Validating Service tax eligibility/non eligibility determination for availing cenvat credit.

- Reconciliation of service tax data with Ledger/GL codes and Balance Sheet.

- Identify & highlight transactions not captured in the customized report.

- Coordinate with IT/Accounts for resolving system/data issues/atomization.

- Code Creation & testing new scenarios in SAP

- Review existing contracts for services and carry out periodic internal reviews.

- Handle service tax audit conducted by EA2000/CERA.

- Preliminary adjudication work and liaison with the service tax Dept.

- Ensure ISD invoices are issued timely for credit availment by locations.

- Be update on the recent changes in the law and update the stakeholders.

- Must be good at people handling and interaction with user departments.

Candidate Profile :

- Incumbent must be preferably a Chartered Accountant

- Must possess at least 8/10 years hands on experience in handling service tax matters with organization of repute.

- Must be well conversant with service tax, cenvat credit and relevant provisions.

- Must possess good ERP knowledge (preferably SAP), and high proficiency especially in Excel & Word.

- Must possess strong analytical and interpretation skills.

- Must liaison with the Dept authorities.
