Sales Manager –Key Accounts  PharmaSecure is recruiting a Sales Manager- Key Accounts to be based in its Mumbai, India office.  Job Summary  - Responsible for supporting PharmaSecure’s Sales and meeting targets on new and existing accounts assigned to him.  - The Sales Manager- Key Accounts is responsible for Account Management of current customers, contract renewals, and expansion activities including: managing assigned market segment accounts.  - The Sales Manager- Key Accounts will also be responsible for strategic planning, implementation and service delivery efforts.   - The Sales Manager- Key Accounts will work in collaboration with other Departments across the organization, including Product Development, Technology, Finance and Operations Teams   - Sales Manager- Key Accounts will report in to Director- Sales & Marketing and prepare the business planning and forecasting and responsible for expanding existing client’s base.  Responsibilities  - Nurture and develop overall business relationships with assigned market segment Accounts. Establish and/or improve positive strategic relationships with the senior most client executives and respective consultants. Resolve customer issues including resolution of technical and/or customer service problems. Conduct formal periodic review meetings with client(s) to: review performance; surface any threats and opportunities; discuss new ideas and solutions.   - Aggressively identify and pursue opportunities in Serialization in Pharma & Non Pharma like FMCG, etc. segments to expand the business  - Aggressively identify and pursue opportunities for renewal of contract. Use consultative selling practices to uncover issues related to the customer’s needs and pro-actively identify solutions to customer issues by linking opportunities to contract scope expansion. Maintain knowledge of competitor's sales activities and general competitive intelligence.  - Develop long-term strategic plans for the clients designed to ensure account retention and short-term tactical plans to ensure customer satisfaction. Discuss customer issues affecting the cost of service delivery and margin, and identify creative solutions to those issues. Ensure profitability of individual accounts and overall PharmaSecure profitability.  - Prepare necessary data, reports and course of action in managing and renewing clients. Review and analyze reports for accuracy and outcomes needed to satisfy the customer. Present reports to senior executives. (e.g. monthly, quarterly and/or annual reporting) as needed.  - Identify, contact, and meet with prospective clients and strategic partners, work through the enterprise sales process.  - Contact key people in the companies and then employ a value-based sales methodology to identify business problems and develop custom solutions.   - Contact and meet clients, keeping abreast of associated developments and requirements.  - Remain aware of competitive landscape and innovative trends within the pharmaceutical marketplace. Provide ideas and suggestions relative to other security companies' product lines and strategies. Communicate concerns and trends to PharmaSecure management and work together to address these.  - Support PharmaSecure’s expansion to new products and geographies, per the growth strategy. Provide strategic consulting advice to help identify key opportunities for market entry.  Qualifications  - Highly motivated and intelligent individual with expert interpersonal and oral/written communication skills willing to make his career in Product Authentication services.  - Able to operate independently and flexibly in a start-up environment which is both demanding and multicultural.  - At least 3-5 years of related experience in marking and coding industry / pharmaceutical – packaging & development and/or consumer goods companies, involving management of key customer accounts.  - Candidate should be BE/B.Tech and MBA.  - Available for frequent travel (80% of time, depending on location and scope of responsibilities).  - Exposure to Healthcare/Pharma/FMCG industries (e.g.; marketing, sales, security, brand management, packaging, quality assurance, corporate social responsibility, etc.).  - Written and oral fluency in English required.  About PharmaSecure   PharmaSecure is a software and technology company based in the US and India with partners located around the world.
