Desired Candidate:

2 to 3 years of working experience into fund management at investment bank

A CFA or an MBA from top B-Schools - IIM/ISB

Should have proven experience in managing people, programs, and processes in a startup firm

Successful track record of locating, structuring, financing and managing a startup

A proven track record of successful investment and debt sourcing relationships

Superior understanding and proficiency of fixed income and equity investments

Knowledge of all type of funding options for startups and connections with potential investors

Strong organizational and planning skills

Proven leadership abilities Outgoing, business-like personality

Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts. Excellent analytical skills

High degree of honesty and integrity and strong work ethic

Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to foster long-term relationships

Skills: Crowd funding, equity research, market research, investment, consultancy, advisory, modelling, investors relationship

Key Responsibilities:

Find and approach prospective clients, investors and strategic partners for a startup firm.

Identify potential strategic investment trends and opportunities in startup ecosystem

Takes a leadership role in decision making on investments in the fixed income and equity arena for startups

Identifies sources of debt financing relationships

Works with professionals to structure and negotiate funding for startups and entrepreneurs

Travel to visit investors and strategic partners and responsible for the management of investors base of the company.

Assessing client's overall financial picture, understand their needs and develop a solid financial plan

Guiding clients towards a profitable and secure financial decision

Customize financial plans according to clients- changing needs

Build strong relationships to retain existing clients

Cultivate client base and build win-win relationships

Keep abreast of new industry's trends and research market to back up financial consulting

Comply with all industry rules and regulations

Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis

Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities

Establish financial policies

Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions

Maintain updated knowledge of regulations, practices and financial products
