Description of the role: - The I-trade operations and compliance leader is responsible for ensuring that P&amp;G CH imports and exports (Air/Sea/Road) are in line with all government pertinent regulations and are in line with the standard methodologies as may be resolved from time to time by the IMEA I-Trade customs compliance Center of Excellence . - This requires developing, and maintaining, a mastery of the Customs and local regulatory agencies- requirements focusing both internally and building external partnerships as well. - The I-Trade operations and compliance leader must also be able to influence the business (Particularly the customs/government regulatory agencies, sending Plants/ CMOs, Accounts Payable departments, Treasury department, - Raw and Packing Materials / SIP imports leaders, etc.) to ensure that Customs &amp; regulatory due diligence is exercised in all its operations and that the proper pre/post importation and exportation documentation and process is maintained. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role: - Education: Graduate Degree, Higher Education preferred Experience of working in Import/Export division of a large/medium sized firm. - Expertise in Customs Clearance processes, dealing with CHAs, Transporters and other Service Providers Passion for operations and cost savings initiatives, with experience working on understanding of duty drawback schemes and related regulations. - Strong leadership, innovation and interpersonal teamwork skills. Analytical skills (specific technical / deep IT understanding preferred). English proficiency.
