- Drive an outstanding safety culture towards ZERO Injury, Waste and Discharge Provide technical expertise and support on Health & Safety matters to Projects, Procurement specifications of Safety Equipment and review of HSE documents and Manuals. Ensure that required risk assessment reviews are carried out at different stages of a project and the recommendations resulting from risk reviews are fully implemented during various stages of the project development. Ensure that HSE plans / procedures are prepared for new projects, expansion / augmentation of existing facility, exploration activities (seismic), Hot works etc, review & provide technical inputs and ensure that effective and workable plans are prepared to meet the HSE requirements.

- Responsible to ensure and support line managements responsibility of handling HSE risk through effective process. Provide proficiency & mentorship to line management in day to day operation, implementing BIC work practices from HSE point of view while handling & leads the aspect of Risk assessment, Legal and Corporate standards' compliance, Process control, Emergency Preparedness, Incident reporting and Investigation, Management review etc. Ensuring the quality execution of HSE management system across the site - Construction/Non-construction, Manufacturing/Non-Manufacturing areas.

- Ensure site compliance with local HSE regulation as well as corporate standards including asset conservation standards and are monitored and maintained up to date.

Key roles and responsibilities :

- Develop and set up occupational Health, Safety & Environment strategies and improvements for site

- Design, develop and ensure an EHS organisation. Set department and individual targets aligned with site targets

- Ensure that accurate records as per the guidelines of Corporate Safety standards are maintained

- Ensure all Safety Systems and DMS (Daily Management System) in place and executed with rigor and discipline via systems owners

- Capability building of all contractors and employees for safety and ensure implementation

- Bring together all incidents and analyze and actions are planned and taken to prevent recurrence

- To ensure that the best safe work practices are identified and implemented

- To ensure formal reports/reviews of action plans of EHS audit and regular follow up on Internal/External audits

- Carry out regular EHS audits and also external audits are coordinated and organized

- Ensure risk assessment / hazard risk assessment exercises carried out on defined frequency

- Perform environment, social, safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and accurate potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance

- Ensure systemic adherence to all Work Permit Systems on Site

- Prepare site specific Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment & Environment Aspect

- Ensuring adequate documentation at site meeting Company, Customer, Statutory and Regulatory requirements and other requirements to which Company has prescribed

- Ensure compliance of all legal permissions for site and personnel of the site. Maintain working knowledge of legal obligations under Indian and local authority Environment law

- Acts as champion for the company's health and safety initiatives

- Evaluation of site subcontractors for their safety and Environmental performance

- Financial budget setting and management for the HS&E Department MOE

QUALIFICATIONS :

Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role :

- 3-5 years experience

- Depth Knowledge of HSE Systems, Documentation and Work processes in FMCG/Industrial Safety

- Good Interpersonal skill to keep site HS&E/Site Construction Safety team engaged and energized towards HS&E goals and business delivery
