This is regarding a job opening with one of our client; please find below the job details –

The role is for Global Payroll Transformation Director, who would be responsible for restructuring and upgrading our HR & Payroll systems and processing framework globally. Candidates with prior experience of driving major payroll transformation programs globally using PeopleSoft HCM / NA Payroll / Global Payroll will be preferred.

Location: Chennai, India

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Play the role of Program Director for a portfolio of payroll transformation projects spanning across multiple geographies involving cross-functional teams

- Manage analysis and design of industry leading solutions for global end to end HR and Payroll solutions

- Leading and conducting requirements analysis, use case reviews, reviews of fit/gap analyses, functional designs, business process re-engineering and critical design elements for global HR and Payroll systems and process deployments

- Thinking out of the box for innovative, efficient and integrated process and systems solutions and following them up to their successful implementation

Required Skillsets:

- Minimum 3 full cycle HR / Payroll implementations/upgrades globally

- Credible Techno-Functional background in HR / Payroll domain

- Large global program management experience

- Strong solution architecting experience in prior payroll transformation projects

- Expert in client facing roles with advanced presentation and communication skills

- Self-driven, results-oriented, ability to excel in a cross-functional set-up

Desired Skillsets:

- Hands-on experience with one or more major payroll processing platforms, PeopleSoft HCM / Global Payroll / Benefits / T&L modules version 8.8 / 9.x would be preferred

- Prior experience in Payroll vendor management, selection and evaluation

- Strategic/Domain HR/Payroll consulting and/or change management experience in HR / Payroll

Educational Qualification:

- MBA or equivalent / Engineering degree from a reputed institute

- PeopleSoft certification (HR/Payroll) would be an added advantage
