Partner - Rural Business - SME Focused Broking Entity (7-12 yrs)

- Partner-Rural Business- will forge rural partnerships with NBFCs, for selling insurance to rural segments. The individual will work closely with the Financial Institutions to offer the best Product structure depending on the need.

Business Development and Relationship Management

- Responsible for the overall development and execution for the Business Development of Rural Insurance products by devising a Rural Strategy, leading the process from inception to closure.

- Partner and manage relationships with NBFC's so as to provide customized insurance solutions to end users/customers - Work closely with the Relationship Managers and Personal Bankers of NBFCs to identify opportunities and coach them on insurance concepts and products and meet their customers- insurance needs

- Work closely with customers for the structuring of products to give them the best possible options.

- Identify, solicit, prospect and secure new business relationships, generating new income for company to an agreed annual target.

- Work closely with the product/policy team by giving inputs on changes and recommendations based market and industry feedback

- Develop overall BD strategic action plans to ensure achievement of revenue targets including the segmentation, competitor analysis and customizing the value proposition accordingly.

- Structure product/solutions relevant for the customer base of the concerned NBFC

- Products would span general and life insurance segments including cattle insurance, crop insurance, credit shield, group accident, home insurance etc

- Would manage a team of 1-3 person over time

- Design & deliver sales training for the front-line sales force for the concerned NBFC

- Monitor activation of various branches of the NBFC, periodically report & review with concerned stakeholders and manage the overall P&L for the partnership

Number of years of Work Experience: 7-12 years

Experience in working in Rural space and/or engaging with Rural Communities
