PanIIT Alumni Reach for India Foundation (PARFI), a not-for-profit section 25 social enterprise, is committed to execute and scale self-sustainable business models that enhance incomes of the underprivileged sections. PARFI is managed by PanIITian professionals and domain experts and is overseen by an advisory board of PanIITians and invitees from various walks of life including corporate, Academics. The Organization is funded by PanIIT Alumni Network, NABARD, social investors and Government agencies. Finally, like a typical enterprise, clients and client satisfaction are the central themes of financial and social performance.  The role entails constant and consistent engagement with these key stakeholders to ensure the current potential to scale is realized in to social and financial performance.  JOB CONTENT:  PanIIT Alumni Reach for India's skill gurukul initiative works on building captive finishing school for corporate clients that are willing to absorb students on an on-going basis. Thus, it builds dedicated skilled manpower for the clients at no cost to them as the students get 100% micro-financing to fund their training.  The candidates are by definition, BPL students who are school drop-outs and currently engaged in unskilled, daily wage labor. Thus, jobs are assured upfront and then unskilled candidates sourced and trained.  - Lead Sevak, Client liaison and partnerships is responsible for seeking such clients and engaging with them through structured post-training process to ensure 100% placement for the candidates.  - In addition, S/he needs to work with social investors to raise social capital and also foster an active network of supporters to help in operational and other issues that may arise. Thus, the job will entail ensuring 100% pre-placement of all candidates and forging social investor partnerships for social and financial success.  We are looking for motivated individuals who have in them a spirit to give back to their country. Also engage with existing social investors to monitor current deliverables are met to their satisfaction.  - Foster and upkeep partnerships to synergize collaboration for a mutually beneficial relationship  - Leverage on the PanIIT network in a structured manner to reinforce internal branding of the initiative and inspire Nation Building  - Compensation will not be a constraint for the right candidate. But it will be based on principles of social entrepreneurship and performance.  SELECTION CRITERIA :   - An Engineer from IITs + MBA (From prestigious institutions) with work experience in Ivy league/Impact Investing/Social Enterprise firms with a sales/marketing stint in industry.  - Prior exposure/contacts in social capital networks are an added advantage.  - Work experience of over 2 years with an entrepreneurial streak is vital.  - Delivered on assignments with CSR Funds/Governments/social Investors and led CXO level interaction. Prior experience of handling P & L responsibility will be valuable.  - Passionate to make long term career in social/rural sector. Family support for venturing to social space will be welcome.  - Understanding of BPL customer mindset and vocational training space will be appreciated.  - Know-how of nuances of trade-offs between social profit maximization as compared to financial profit maximization.  - Willingness to travel including to remote locations and ability to work independently  - Capable of applying business practices, thinking to ensure scalability and self-sustainability of social enterprise.
