Assistant Manager-OHS (Occupational, Health and Safety)  Key Areas Of Responsibility For The Role Are As Follows:  - Work towards Target Zero Health and Safety incidents  - Update Management about Occupational Health and Safety compliance with appropriate regulatory requirements   - Create OHS awareness in the organization.  - Implement OHS programs to maintain safe work environment  - Work closely with personnel at all levels of the organization to ensure that OHS goals are met  - Act as an immediate contact point for any issues related to OHS  - Regular assessment on effective implementation of OHS Policy, process and procedures  Functional Knowledge:  - Sound knowledge in OHS regulations  - Should be conversant with NBC 2005, Shops and Establishment Act/Rules, Factory's Act/Rules, MSIHC rules, Gas Cylinder rules, Petroleum Rules, Hazardous Waste Management rules, IS Codes etc.  - Experience in fire hydrant system, fire extinguisher, fire alarm systems.  - Experience in conducting OHS audits and inspections.  - Experience in implementation of Safety Policies, Work Permit System, LOTO, Confined Space Management  Qualifications:  Essential: Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety from CLI/RLI, BSC in Fire Safety/ Diploma in industrial safety from regional labor institute
