Position Summary:

- The key mission of the - AVP Investment- would be to plan and design the Investment opportunity for the company.

- An investment plan will be developed and subsequently implemented with short, medium and long-term milestones and managed according to the given framework.

- This is a leadership position for a Buy-side professional having experience right from deal origination, execution and closure in the Private equity life cycle. The candidate will be assisted by a team of 2-4 members

Duties And Responsibilities:

- Origination, screening and evaluation of investment opportunities in India and Overseas

- Make recommendations for or against making investments

- Leading multiple transactions till closure (client visits, meetings, bilateral discussions, commercial negotiations, etc.) including structuring of deal

- Plan and execute due diligence, negotiate and manage investor agreements and prepare a decision memorandum for presenting possible investment recommendations to the investment committee

- Liaising with legal & financial advisors during execution of transactions

- Liaising with other departments (e.g. Finance) throughout transaction

- Managing a team of 2-4 members

- Relationship building with local intermediary market (banks, lawyers etc.)

Position Requirements And Qualifications:

- You must have a strong sense of entrepreneurship with a desire to create a high profitable portfolio for the company.

- A proven, hands-on, seasoned professional with a track record of 7-12 years of relevant work experience. Must have completed multiple deals.

- Relevant experience in Private Equity/Investment Banking/Corporate M&A

- Strong financial skills (Deal Structuring, Due diligence, Valuation)

- Profound knowledge of fund structuring.

- Open for Travel.

Education:

- CA or MBA preferably from Tier 1 B-School

- Preferred multi-lingual - English is a must, an additional language is a plus
