- The Data Scientist will develop analytics and Machine Learning models on problems of moderate to high complexity, using statistical analysis software such as SAS, R, Matlab or Python stack.  - The Data Scientist will develop statistical and machine learning models on distributed platforms such as Hadoop by using modern machine learning libraries such as SparkML, Shogun, Mahout and OpenNLP.  - The Data Scientist will apply the predefined quality measurement framework at an individual level tasks in the project  - The Data Scientist will participate as a team member in refining and executing proof-of-concept solutions for specific industry problems  - The Data Scientist will also execute PoCs that demonstrate a data science core capability at scale, such as a statistical or machine learning algorithm  QUALIFICATIONS:  - Prefer PhD or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Commerce, Science with Relevant experience in the field of Analytics  - Domain experience in Marketing will be an added bonus  - Experience in R, SAS, Matlab, Python or equivalent statistical analysis software  - Knowledge of Perl, Python or Ruby; experience with Java, C or C++  - Deploying and servicing statistical and machine learning models on massive datasets  - Extensive experience in wrangling data from its raw forms to a state suitable for application of advanced algorithms  - Deep background in at least one of the following: Statistical learning, Machine learning, Stochastic simulation, Natural Language Processing, Numerical Optimization, Agent-based modeling, Parallel programming, Computational Economics, High-Performance Computing  - Strong skills in communicating and presenting data-derived insights to non-technical audiences appropriately
