Ovenfresh - GM - City Operations - Startup

This is a unique opportunity to work with an early-stage VC funded company in the retail sector. Ovenfresh is building a world-class food retail chain and is re-inventing bakery retail in India. We are rapidly growing, and are operational at 35 locations in Chennai and Bangalore. We are looking for future leaders to join us in our journey of growth. A passion for operations and desire to work in retail are necessary qualifications for this role.

Opportunity and Requirements:

- Full P&L and Operational Responsibility for Bangalore Retail Operations

- Leadership of Retail Operations team and consisting of service crew, outlet managers and area managers

- Gain hands-on exposure to all facets of a fast growing venture, including Retail Operations, Sales, Marketing and HR

- Work directly with the Founder/CEO and management team on a daily basis; strategize and execute key initiatives of the Company

- MBA / Engineering from top ranked institution

- People-oriented, with a knowledge of Bangalore and local languages is preferred

- Desire to work in a multi-disciplinary management capacity, and ability to perform in an unstructured start-up environment are a must

- Prior exposure to non-IT businesses, preferably Retail, SCM or QSR operations would be an added benefit
