Organic121 - Manager - Sales (6-20 yrs)
The Sales Managers are accountable for consistently achieving sales objectives and ensuring these sales are profitable and within the guidelines of The Organic121, defined sales and marketing practices. The position is responsible for the development, management and growth of the independent HABA/Grocery retailer network based on the company growth and expansion strategy. The Sales Manager will expand/develop new and existing business and brand loyalty by identifying and developing strategic account partners in the North, East, West and South of India such as Natural Grocery stores, co-ops, Specialty Grocery chains; as well as Super markets, Retail chains, Regional Whole Foods Market accounts, etc. He/she will ensure the establishment of outstanding customer relationships at our most strategic retail customers within the Natural/Organic / Grocery channel, that produce faster speed to market opportunities and improve the quality of support we receive in our programming and planning.
Responsibilities
Consistently meet/exceed sales objectives as well as market share within assigned channel and specific retailers while working to support the Sr Sales Director's national, monthly, quarterly and annual goals
Work closely with Sr. Sales Director to monitor and overcome competitive activity within the designated channel
Developing, managing the campaigning the customer acquisition strategy within specified channel
Management of National Broker group
Closely monitor and manage key customers that represent the majority of sales volume and develop action plans to ensure continued growth in these critical customers within the team structure. Specific customer accountabilities include:

Sprouts
Independents Chains
Targeted New Accounts
Management of the budget objective for the key partners in the Natural/Grocery channel
Work with Customer Strategy team to design unique marketing programs for the specific accounts
In collaboration with Customer Strategy team, meet regularly with the Operation and Finance team to faciliate cross functional communication and planning
Assist in leading joint business planning and category review process at key customers
Minimize out-of-stocks and manage appropriate replenishment requirements with retailers
Display a comprehensive understanding of products, product mixes and product positioning to build new and existing customer relationships and develop profitable and valuable revenue opportunities
Work effectively and productively within The Organic121 sales team. Provide continuous sales process and product performance feedback
Work under the direction of the Sr. Sales Director to ensure client satisfaction and develop key accounts into active and strong channel partners
Implement promotional events and merchandising recommendations at store level
Identify high potential revenue opportunities through market and customer profiling
Attend industry events and tradeshows that enhance brand position
Complete all administrative duties in a timely fashion and work within the specified budget
Assist in design and implementation of training and demo program at key retailers
Travel a minimum of 50% of the time.
Qualifications
Minimum 7-10 years experience in direct outside sales, preferable in Natural / Organic CPG
Minimum 7 years experience in Regional account management responsibility
Management of a minimum 20 Cr business and 10 Cr. in trade funds
MBA degree
Channel appointment and distribution network experience is must
Proven track record of sales success, result driven
Personable and professional business approach
