Job Title : Operations Manager  Job Location: Pune   Reporting into the Senior Manager - Operations, you would be responsible for :   - People Management -   - Mentoring team managers and bring them up to speed, Change methods, procedures, and activities  - Builds strong culture within the team that reflects Organization values   - Create positive working environment   - Conduct performance assessments for team using organizational performance management guidelines, and provide regular feedback to the team   - Responsible for Employee Retention  Operations Management:  - Implementing systems, migrating systems to upgraded versions to achieve maximum efficiency in productivity  - Framing work direction and plan for the associates after thorough assessment of their capabilities  - Preparing & presenting various monthly MIS reports pertaining to process/productivity  - Organizing & actively participating in weekly conference calls with the clients to analyze issues/challenges & reviewing progress of the past week  - Process Management  - Workflow management   - Work on Service Improvement Plans  - Automation / Standardization of day to day work   - Create, Contribute and Implement best practices   - Ensuring Client satisfaction by taking ownership of the committed Deliverables   - Plan, direct, incubate and co-ordinate team's activities to manage and implement to operational stage and final delivery.   - During project execution overseeing/initiating appropriate corrective/preventive actions to ensure fulfillment of account/project objectives.  - Effective Risk Management by implementing effective controls that will help either mitigate the risk or reduce the risk score.  An ideal candidate :   - Relevant experience in operations in financial services/ Insurance/ ITES   - Specifically worked in UK Pensions.   - Knowledge of fundamentals of operations management, quality tools   - Strong background and work experience in insurance and/or financial services sectors   - Excellent people management skills, open to direction and Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done   - Strong Analytical ability and Decision making skills   - Excellent computer skills and proficiency in excel, word, outlook, and access   - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style   Neha Singh
