Operations Manager - Supply Chain Management - Consumer IT Products (8-14 yrs)
SRP Talent Management is a growing provider of Talent Management Solutions to world's renowned and reputed organizations. This position is with our client that has an ambition to become a IT Product Unicorn.
Expertise required :
- Person should handle Operations, Import, Exports, 3P, Inbound- Outbound warehousing, Shipping with experience in Consumer product multinational companies. This person should currently be handling operations for consumer IT products/ categories.
Responsibility :
- Demand & Supply Planning: Balancing Demand and Supply Capabilities involving Sales & Operations. Planning with stake holders & steering and monitoring weekly supply confirmations along with Launch & Product Life Cycle Management.
Warehouse Management & Logistics :
- Identify partner and manage relationships with - Service Providers of Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance, Warehousing & Transportation agencies
Inventory Management :
- Streamlining systems and procedures for effective inventory control with key assurance of availability to meet sales targets
Objectives : Define and execute Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Operations strategy:
- Procurement from Global manufacturers/ ODMs, spend analysis, warehousing, backward and reverse logistics and forward supply chain management.
- Own and manage - Demand Planning, Purchasing, Freight, Warehousing & Distribution, Material Master & Stock Control,
- eCommerce and Retail supply chain management
- Cross functional and external stakeholder management : Liaise with internal stake holders - sales, marketing, finance and externally with government agencies, vendors supplies to ensure that any supply chain issues/initiatives are resolved
- Spearheading cost optimization initiatives by consolidating tasks, eliminating non-value-added processes & re-engineering processes and systems.
Key Interface : Own team, Customer Logistics, Account Managers, Finance and marketing & PR partners
Know how required :
- Out of box thinker, self driven and ability to liaise with internal and external stake holders to achieve results in tight deadlines
- Ability to work in unstructured environments with focus on achievement of results
- Experienced Professional with about 10+ years experience with leading technology/ product/ e-commerce organisations who has owned and delivered in the role of Operations/ Supply chain head
- Key for the person to have managed and delivered in B2B & B2C environments, large format transactions at national and international levels
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of end to end operations including logistics and supply chain management in a hands on role
- Preferably holds a Masters in SCM.
