Operations Controller - CA/ICWA - Chemical Manufacturing (7-12 yrs)

About our Client - Our client is a Leading Chemical Manufacturing European MNC based in Mumbai. Their head office in Mumbai is based in a prime office district. The India office is also responsible for business around the Subcontinent.
Job Description - Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Site Finance Leader oversaw 3 sites on Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting, Annual Budgeting
- Ensure compliance with Group's Cost Accounting Standards, including monthly update of standard costs in the SAP system
- Implemented action plans to successfully achieve corporate objectives.
- Work as one of the business partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales & Purchasing for continuous improvement process and profitability enhancement.
- Develop template to allow Plant Managers to analyze productivity and variances.
- Implement monthly financial reviews with site operations management team.
- Analyzing existing operations and implementing effective systems, strategies, and processes to improve organizational performance and profitability.
- Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports process.
- Improve site stock count accuracy in the following years
- Inventory management, control and valuation
- Coordinate capital expenditure request for approval and performed monthly investment/capital expenditure (CAPEX) monitoring and control
- Coordinate monthly/quarterly and year-end audit related activities, eg physical count of inventories and fixed assets.
- Conduct training on product costing to other plants in Asia Pacific (Coaching)
- Assist global Manufacturing Footprint Optimization (MFO) team for setting up a powder manufacturing plant in Ipoh which contributed annual savings
The Successful Candidate - You are a CA / CWA with atleast 7 years post qualification experience. You should be well versed with Cost Accounting and Plant Costing related activities.
