Mandatory Requirement
- Candidate who is passionate about directing a team and responsible for creating software and has high attention to detail and ownership over the Quality of the product.
- Proven track record of achieving objectives on schedule, on budget, and within quality targets
- Experience in technically leading software development projects using Agile Scrum Process
- Experience implementing DevOps pipe (CI CD) and Automation for QA and Development
- Experience taking a product from concept to implementation in a production setting
- 12+ yrs of hands-on product development experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and 4+ years of experience in managing a team of 15 + software engineers
- Experience with Unit Testing Automation, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Automation techniques
- Experience in Angular JS, HTML 5, T-SQL, ASP.NET, C#, WCF, MVC, SOA, Design Patterns, GoLang, ReactJS, Cassandra, PostGreSQL, Redux Pattern, Micro Services Architecture
- Preferred TDD, BDD approach towards product development
- Prior exposure to working with Geographically distributed teams - worked with US teams if possible
Job Description Role
- Collaborate with Product management and Service delivery team to understand the requirements that will form the core foundation for all the in-house applications.
- Provide technical leadership and be part of the technology team that designs and develops the application platforms.
- Own the core system quality attributes relating to product architecture, such as performance, scalability, security, availability, reliability etc.
- Evaluates emerging technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities within the company products.
- Must have extensive experience building applications in an agile delivery environment.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management as well as a geographically and culturally diverse technical organization.
Responsibilities
- Team management and individual tracking to accomplish the development task.
- Mentor technical resources in development teams.
- Manage engineering and operational project teams in the design, test and deployment of new infrastructure projects, products, and/or features.
- Ensure new technologies are employed productively in operations by planning their release, working with internal customers on adoption, as well as identifying and resolving problems throughout the project's life cycle.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver engineering projects by working closely with Product Management and other teams by understanding the priorities.
- Ability to work towards transforming engineers in terms of process, culture and technology stack
- Ability to hire and build a team of strong A+ engineers to join a high pace, high quality engineering team
- Set and achieve challenging goals and build trust and influence across teams.
