1. Role. Onshore SME for Guarantees and Arabic Trade

2. Required Technical Skill Set. Fluent in Arabic & English speaking, Reading and Writing. Experience in Trade Guarantees and Claims handling.

*SME – Subject matter expert – Technical expert who will be able to explain exact nature of requirement to the recruitment team. Preferably they should be the Technical panelist.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have. Fluent in Arabic & English speaking, Reading and Writing. Experience in Trade Guarantees and Claims handling.

Good-to-Have. Other Trade products knowledge

SN. Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1. To manage Arabic and English customers at counter / phone for Trade Related products especially Guarantees and Claims

2. Delivery / Dispatch of Guarantees to customers at counters / through courier upon completion of processing from offshore

3. Preparing Guarantee files, filing all relevant documents / correspondences completely. Forwarding same for scanning at offshore. Retrieval of files whenever required / demanded for queries / amendments

4. Coordinating with Finance Team for Pricing / approvals for Guarantees

5. Raising Referrals for Guarantees exceptions / limits as per Bank DOA. Forwarding referrals to offshore once approvals received for processing.

- Direct interaction with client as well as end customers on a day to day basis. Increase of domain knowledge for Trade across products and market.

- Details of The Project (A short Briefing on the Project may be attached with this document for candidate- briefing). It may be shared with external stakeholders like job-agencies etc. Commercial Bank of Qatar has outsourced their Banking Operations including Trade Services to IT Co. Qatar. We are managing end to end operations at onshore (customer service / delivery / interaction) and offshore (processing).
